Courses for Provisional Brokers...for a limited time with FREE coaching sessions!

A newly-licensed provisional broker must complete the North Carolina Real Estate Commission's 90-hour Post-Licensing Education requirements within the first 18 months of licensure. The program consists of three individual classes of 30-hours each and does include a mandatory final examination. Once satisfactory course requirements have been met, a licensee will no longer have the "provisional" status on their license and will automatically become a "non-provisional broker."

If all three 30-hour courses have not been completed by the 18th month after the date of licensure, the licensee goes on inactive status. All Post-Licensing students must present their license card or documentation of their license number provided from the North Carolina Real Estate Commission. Students can take the Post-Licensing courses in any order.

Post-Licensing courses are taught online via a webinar-style Zoom meeting. Therefore, students will be required to have a stable high-speed internet connection, a device capable of accessing the webinar, and a webcam/microphone for student interaction.

The book for the Post Licensing courses is the most current edition of the North Carolina Real Estate Manual, which is available for online subscription at NCREC.gov from the North Carolina Real Estate Commission.

Course Descriptions

New Agent Mentoring Spring 2024
Trav Talks believes that new agents can benefit greatly from guidance and direction outside of the classes that are required. As a service to our students who take all of their postlicensing with us, we offer new broker mentoring. Please do NOT pay for this course. The pricing is only there because the website requires it. If you are a previous student of ours who took all of your postlicensing, you may contact us for the discount code to register for this for free. The meetings will be weekly on Tuesdays from 1:30pm to 2:30pm beginning on March 5, 2024 and running through April 30, 2024. We will have Brokers in Charge and Team Leaders from around the state who will help Travis and Leslye present topics that are meaningful to help you launch your new career!

Attendance and Grading

The school follows the North Carolina Real Estate Commission's policy that all students must attend at least 90% of the scheduled class instruction time for any course. Attendance is taken at every class session, and any student who misses more than 10% of the scheduled class meeting time will not be eligible to pass the course. This does not mean that students are expected or encouraged to miss any class time. All students are expected to be in every class session and will be solely responsible for the material missed during any absence.

Each of the Post-Licensing courses offered by the school has a mandatory coursework, quizzes, and open-book examinations. Students will be eligible to sit for the examination if they have met the above attendance requirements and completed all in-class and homework assignments over the course duration. The course's final grade is based on a combination of these factors.

Once any course offered by the school is completed successfully, the student will receive a course completion certificate, and their status will be recorded with the North Carolina Real Estate Commission so that they may receive credit for the courses they completed.
